Vorsin: Aleh Znarok not to train Belarus national hockey team

The manager of Moscow “Dinamo”, Aleh Znarok, will not become the new Belarus manager. All the hopes of the Belarusian Football Federation have been shattered by the position of Moscow “Dinamo” administration – they are against the fact that Znarok would have to combine jobs.

The head of the hockey federation, Yauhen Vorsin, has refuted the rumour that the administration of the federation are going to leave for Pinsk to talk to Znarok in an interview with Euroradio (Moscow “Dinamo” players and their manger are conducting a training session there). According to Vorsin, Aleh Znarok’s reaction to the inadmissibility of working with the Belarusian team was “adequate”.
Vorsin: “Of course, he had such a desire. But there is certain responsibility a person has to bear for the national team and club. We have never doubted the specialist’s professional qualities. We are still contacting him. Belarusian teams will soon play friendly matches with Moscow “Dinamo”...”.
The federation will continue looking for a coach who would help the team get ready for the Olympics and the World Championships in Minsk in 2014.
