Where is Euroradio reporter's vote? (photo)

Only two candidates remained in Mahilyou October constituency: school headmistress Lyudmila Starastsina and pensioner communist for "Fair World" Liliya Sivakova. Student from the UCP Alyaksei Kiryyenka had withdrawn. But I decided to chose him on purpose.

I found the candidate's name on the ballot paper. The spot that I needed to tick said that the candidate had withdrawn. That is why I put the tick nearby.

"If a candidate withdraws, all the votes he has scored are counted and the number is noted down in the fifth paragraph of the vote count report - the number of votes scored by the candidate who withdrew during early voting," CEC secretary Mikalai Lazavik said.

The vote count was over but I saw... a dash in paragraph 5! To tell the truth, I gave my vote to the candidate who had already withdrawn.

Mikalai Lazavik: "If you voted for a withdrawn candidate, or for two or more candidates at a time the ballot paper will be considered spoilt."

My candidate withdrew - it means that I did not vote for anyone. However, there was a dash on the paragraph meant for spoilt ballot papers too! Did they miss my vote?

The number of ballot papers given to citizens and calculated during the vote count  coincided winch means that my vote was not lost.
