Young politicians to boycott election
Young representatives of a number of parties and movements have signed the united platform of the boycott campaign of the Parliamentary Election “Ignore-2012”.
The coalition consists of the Young Front, “Revolution on Social Networks”, the youth of “European Belarus”, “Belarusian Christian Democracy”, “Young Social Democrats – Young Hramada”, “Young Democrats” (youth wing of the UCP) and “Rising Generation” – youth wing of the campaign “Tell the Truth”.
The young politicians are going to boycott the future election together by means of street actions, an information campaign and appeals to the international community. They will also call for the cancellation of the Ice Hockey World Championship, notes Radio “Liberty”. They claim that a fair election is impossible while there are political prisoners in the country and until all the released political prisoners are acquitted.
