Requiem meeting to take place in Khatyn today
A requiem meeting “Khatyn – pain and memory of the people” will take place today in the memorial complex built in the place of a Belarusian village burnt down by fascist chasteners.
Let us remind you that March 22 is the 65th anniversary of the day when Khatyn was burnt down together with its 149 inhabitants including 76 children.
The head of the President’s administration Henadz Nyavyhlas, heads of Minsk Region Executive Committee, foreign delegations and witnesses of the tragic events will participate in the meeting in Khatyn on Saturday.
A practical scientific conference will also be organized. Representatives of memorials in France, Czechia, Lithuania and Latvia will take part in it, informs “SB”.
