Rock school opens in Belarus
The Belarusian Music Alternative (BMA Group) at the Belarusian Language Society has announced about the launch of the Rock School project. Belapan reports that applications are welcome from Belarusian rock bands that wish to participate in the project. The Rock School is designed for young bands which are just trying to start up their creative careers. The project aims to give basic knowledge to young bands.
Applications should be sent to [email protected] not later than August 1. Five bands, both from Minsk and the regions, will be picked tp study at the rock school.
In September, master classes by famous Belarusian musicians and text writers will be held in the framework of the school. Experts from the BMA Group will share their skills on the organization of concerts, while music critics will teach the sudents to maintain contacts with the press.
