Russia ready to finance construction of nuclear power plant in Belarus
Russia is ready to give Belarus a credit for equipment needed for the construction of a nuclear power plant. The Russian Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov has informed about it.
According to him, Moscow “has a serious intention to participate in the tender for the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant”.
At the same time, Russia is ready to educate the staff, provide fuel supplies and its utilization and help with designing. The exploitation of the equipment may be organized according to concessionary terms, noted the Ambassador.
According to him, the cost of the construction of the nuclear power plant will total at least 4 billion USD in connection with the devaluation of the American currency exchange rate.
