Russian border guards detain man who crossed Belarus, Lithuania without passport

Border guards in the Kalinigrad region, Russia's Baltic Sea enclave, detained a man who illegally crossed the borders of several countries.  The detainee said he was on his way home from Moscow. A resident of Kaliningrad, the man flew to the Russian capital where he had his passport stolen. This made him return home by hitch-hiking.

The man crossed illegally three borders, including Belarus and Lithuania. Police is investigating the matter, writes the Russian newspaper Pravda.ru
