Russian troops to visit us again in 2009

The number of troops that will take part in Belarus-Russia strategic manoeuvres “West-2009” has not been defined yet. It can be concluded from the words of a representative of the Russian Army headquarters Alexander Yanovskii who made a speech at a press conference in Minsk on December 19. Yanovskii informed that Belarusian and Russian soldiers would start cooperating to find out who should train on what training grounds.  Manoeuvres “West-2009” are planned to take place in Belarus in the second half of 2009.
