Sausage to be made from confiscated pork
Sausages will be made from the meat of pigs confiscated from the first African swine fever buffer zone.
According to the new decree of the Council of Ministers (#758), the meat of confiscated pigs will be used in the production of sausages and tinned stewed meat. The document consisting of 190 pages was approved on August 29 and published on September 10. It has cancelled some of the previous orders aimed at fighting the African pig fever and summed up all the information.
Meat of diseased animals will be eliminated. People will get 18 thousand roubles per kilo of confiscated meat. The money should be allocated within two weeks after confiscation.
The new African pig fever decree went into power on September 2. The document has already been sent to District and Province Executive Committees.
