Sevyarynets under surveillance
Pavel Sevyarynets, one of the leaders that organize the Belarusian Christian Democracy party, has been summoned for interrogation to the Pershamayski district police department in Vitsebsk. The politician is expected there today, a day-off. "This is a clear provocation, because police agents are sitting in two cars in front of the entrance. I have been under permanent surveillance while in Vitsebsk. Besides, they brought this subpoena yesterday," Sevyarynets told the European Radio for Belarus.
Sevyarynets says he is not goint to show up at the police station. The politician believes that the authorities are trying to isolate him ahead of the European March.
