Shell hits Donetsk prison: 1 convict dead, 18 wounded, 106 escaped
The incident occulted on the evening of August 10. A shell hit top-security colony #124 in the city’s Kirov district.
"A shell hit colony 124 on the evening of August 10. One convict was killed, three people were wounded. 15 people received light injuries. It caused a riot in the colony and 106 prisoners escaped. Some of them returned to colony in the morning. The final details will be reported by this evening,” Donetsk Town Council press service reports.
The evening for August 11 started with shelling aimed at the airport and Shyroki miscrodistcrt in Donetsk. The ATO headquarters reported that the city was being prepared for its release from terrorists: separatists had already lost connection with Lugansk and Russia.
