Social Democrats evicted from offices in Minsk
The Minsk Economic Court today postponed a hearing of the complaint filed against the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) by a housing cooperative where the party is renting its offices. It remains unclear if the party will be able to keep their legal address. The hearing was rescheduled for July 28 after the plaintiff -- a new chairman of the cooperative -- failed to show up in court. If the party is evicted and loses its legal address, it will face closure by the Ministry of Justice.
