Zmitser Paloika returned from Ukraine and was detained. His detention is yet to explained.
The Belarusian special services are checking Belarusians’ membership in the Ukrainian voluntary battalion Donbass, KGB spokesperson Artur Streh said. The situation is under control and the security agencies are working ‘to prevent Belarusian citizens’ participation in military conflicts in other states”.
Streh refused to comment on Zmitser Paloika’s detention, BelaPAN reports. Paloika was mentioned as a member of Donbass on the website CyberBerkut. There are five more Belarusians on that list.
Paloika’s fiancée who lives in Kurahova, Donetsk Ob last, claims that he did not serve in Donbass and was going to look for welder’s job in Ukraine.
