State-run sports newspaper forges photographs
The October 3 issue of the state-owned newspaper Sportivnaya Panorama ran a front-page material titled "A draw that equals victory" on BATE-Juventus football match.
The photograph depicted BATE fans on the stadium. When the newspaper appeared in news-stands, a wave of indignation surged on the internet resources devoted to the fans from Borisov. The newspaper changed the club colors on BATE flags from blue-yellow to red-green (the color of the official Belarus flag. The club should deprive those moron of accreditation, wrote REDLiNE in BATE fans' guest book. «In the same manner, they could add some malicious symbols on the picture and later charge us with extremism. Or they caould add Kalashnikov rifles and then claim that were from Al-Quaida", wrote zagorulko.
The reason of the forgery is explained by Quorthon: «On the black-and-white picture, it seems that the flags at the stadium are white-red-white, reports Nasha Niva
