Swindlers selling cars they don’t have are detained after 5 years of searching

Swindlers who were selling cars that did not exist for more than 5 years have been detained recently. It is reported that they got acquainted with potential buyers through advertisements in a number of Russian popular editions. The guys advertised expensive foreign cars and left Belarusian contact phone numbers.

The swindlers often asked for deposits before selling the car and got up to 80 thousand dollars per deal. The majority of their victims are Russian citizens but Belarusian motor-car enthusiasts can also be among them, reports STV.
