Tanks in Minsk rehearse military parade - in pictures

The first dress rehearsal of the July 3 military parade was organized in the Belarusian capital on June 23. The parade will take place to mark the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus. Military vehicles including main battle tanks drove towards the Minsk – Hero City stele along Independence Avenue. The second dress rehearsal is scheduled for June 28, state news agency BELTA reports.

More than 260 military vehicles and nearly 3200 troops will be involved in the military parade this year. Chinese soldiers will join the parade in Minsk for the first time ever. Russian paratroopers will also participate in the military parade - they do it every year.
