Tatar President’s son died in Boeing 737 crash
Irek Minnikhanov had boarded the Boeing 737 that crashed in Kazan on November 17.
RBK has reported it referring to a source in the republican government. The information was also confirmed by the airline Tatarstan that owned the airplane.
Head of the Federal Security Service of Tatarstan Alexander Antonov was also on broad the plane. He was flying in the business class together with Irek Minnikhanov and also died.
The tragedy occurred yesterday evening. The plane took off in Moscow Dovodedovo and crashed while landing. There were 44 passengers and 6 crew members on board. All of them died.
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to create a commission in order to investigate the tragedy.
The plane had been used for 23 years before the crash.
