Thai authorities resume hearings of Il-76 cargo plane case
The crew of the Il-76 cargo plane impounded with weapons in Thailand will not be released on bail soon, Askar Abdrakhmanov from Kazakhstan's foreign minister suggested, reports Today.kz. The next court hearings into this case will take place on January 6. During the previous session on December 25, Thai judges extended the arrest of the crew for 12 days.
Under the local laws, such hearings can take place 7 times with the interval of 12 days. Therefore, the pilots can get stuck in a Thai prison for a long time.
