Top-level EU diplomats to visit Belarus on February 9
Political directors of the Visegrad Group Foreign offices (Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) will arrive in Minsk on Tuesday, February 9. The delegation will meet with the administration of the Belarusian MFA and with representatives of the President’s Administration and government.
The interaction of Belarus and the Visegrad group will be discussed at the meeting, the MFA press service reports. The state and prospects of Belarus-EU cooperation and regional security issues will also be touched upon.
There are four countries in the Visegrad group – Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The latter will be presiding in the organization by the end of June.
