Trial of former Belneftekhim boss scheduled for Feb 12
The trial of Alexander Borovski, the former top executive at Belneftekhim, has been set for February 12, official sources said.
However, the Supreme Court of Belarus could confirm this information, reports Belapan. Borovski was detained on May 29, 2007.
He is facing charges of large-scale embezzlement, abuse of office and the deliberate release of classified data.
The charges are associated with oil buy-and-sell transactions. The Office of the Prosecutor General said Borovoski caused losses woth of $1.6 million.
