Ukraine pulls out of Eurovision 2015
Ukraine decides to withdraw from the 2015 Eurovision song contest over financial constraints and war in the east.
Ukraine has refused to participate in the song contest Eurovision-2015 due to financial problems.
The lack of money will inevitably result in bad performance, director of the First Ukrainian TV channel Zurab Alasania said.
“There are many reasons for it – economic and political. It is inappropriate now. We do not want to sing ‘la-la-la’ on the National Channel in autumn and winter during the selection tour of 2014,” Zurab Alasania wrote on Facebook.
Ukraine was No.6 at Eurovision-2014 in Denmark.
Alasania hopes that the country will take part in the song contest in 2016, BBC reports.
