UN anniversary: World buildings turn blue (photo)
The United National marked its 70th anniversary on October 24. Buildings in different countries turned blue (the UN colour) in honour of this date.
The National Library in Minsk and Hrodna Drama Theatre have become blue.
Over 200 buildings have turned blue all over the world. The Giza pyramids, the Empire State Building in New York, the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy, Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, the Palace in Alhambra in Spain, the Great Wall of China and other buildings are among them.
