U.S. special services: Prism helped prevent many terrorist acts
NSA's Keith Alexander has claimed it.
He defended the idea of Prism that allowed the American intelligence access information on the Internet and wire tap. The NSA is ready to talk about prism with members of the Senate behind closed doors before making the information public, the NSA chief claimed.
Some senators have expressed a desire to dismiss Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, BBC reports. Senator democrat Ron Wyden accused Clapper of lying when he told the Senator committee that the U.S. intelligence did not gather information about Americans in March.
Former CIA member Edward Snowden responsible for the information leak claimed that he would appeal any attempts of his extradition from Hong Kong.
