Victoria Azarenka needs a break

Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has said she needs a break from competitions before a new season. She made the statement after defeating Kurumi Narai 6-4, 7-5 at a tournament in Tokyo.

Azarenka was not happy with her performance against Kuruki. "I think I need a break in order to train well for the next season. I had a difficult year, and my preparations could have been better. I did not have enough weeks for training. I will be ready for the next season, that's for sure," Belarusian sport newspaper Pressball quotes Azarenka as saying.
