Where did debt-ridden companies find money for salaries?
On October 1, only 13 of them have wage arrears. This is 33 times less than it was in September: then there were 432 such organizations!
Where did the factories and farms get billions to pay the wages right before the election if people have not seen this money for months?
For example, in Mozyrles wages have not been paid on time for seven months! Where did the company get the money?
"We are dong very well now, we had increased the sales and paid the money," for a few days they paid several months' worth of salaries. Mozyrles administration would not say, why it was impossible to increase sales earlier.
At the "Orsha Agroservice" salary is paid in parts: first 25%, then another and another. But the enterprise paid its debts before September 30. The same situation is in the Mahiliou Plant "Climate Industry" - the company has been several times on the list of borrowers, and suddenly ... they received orders for products! Where the company suddenly get the money, the staff would not say.
Within a year, wage arrears in Belarus increased 15 times
The "Obol Ceramic Plant" (Vitsebsk region) is also a leader in terms of the debt - money payments have been regularly delayed here. The maximum earnings at the enterprise are 2,5 million rubles a month. At the plant say that everyone who could leave is long gone. The company is unprofitable, since "no-one needs our bricks: now everything is built of panels, and although the bricks are higher quality, and better, they are also more expensive."
"We pay 100% of the salary, because there's nothing to divide. It is quite small anyway. You can't use bricks, so we do not pay salaries in them."
But recently, the plant owed money for July and August, and suddenly there is no debt. Where is the money from?
"On October 1, we had no debt. The debtors were lent money, and they paid us. Building Trusts of the Vitsebsk region owed us money for production, but the banks gave them loans and they paid us. We did not become profitable, the situation is still very complicated. Those who could quit - did this."
And here's another situation: A month ago, the farm "Golden Horseshoe" (Hlybokaye District) complained to the Euroradio that they were heavily in debt: they repaired equipment on credit, got the milk for calves and obtained the seeds. People were given a salary partly in natural products.
"We pay30% of the salary in natural products, people buy things in our company store. This is no problem," Euroradio was told.
And in the end: a week ago, the farm, which had no money ... paid salaries for two months at once. We made calculations: the farm employs 200 people, the average salary is 3.7 million rubles before taxes. Where did the company get more than 1.4 billion just for the salaries?
"We do not have debts, salaries have been paid. Money came from the plant, as they were in debt for milk, for meat, for grain," cheerfully said the staff. They do not know if they will continue to delay wages:
"And who knows how it will be here after the elections?"
