White-red-white "Zaxid-2012" (photo)
The conscious Belarusians love it to wrap in a wite-red-white flag and go to visit the neighbours.
About 200 Belarusians arrived to the village of Radatsichy near Lviv to watch the fest "Zaxid-2012". They were mostly fans of "Krambambulya" and "Lyapis Trubetskoy": Lyavon Volski's band came onstage in the evening on August 17, while Syarhei Mikhalok's band closed the second day of the festival at night on August 18.
Some Belarusians claim they wanted to see Ukrainian musicians: "Tin Sonca", "Atmasfera", "Tartak", "Bumbox". However, all of them have one thing in common - the strive for the white-red-white colour combination. One Belarusian came to his Ukrainian friends and lived together with them in the tent camp. However, he marked his presence with a white-red-white flag. A couple of hours later Belarusians placed their tents around and the Ukrainians had to move over a bit in the end.
