Will "Fair World" choose a candidate among those who pass registration?

The directive board of the left party "Fair World" will gather a plenum in order to decide whom to appoint as a candidate at the elections. If a plenum fails to appoint a party candidate, the party will support others. However, it will become clear which candidate to support only after registration of candidates. "Fair World" agitated for a sole oposition candidate at their last plenum. This was informed by the Vice-Chairperson of the party Alena Skryhan, to the European Radio for Belarus.

Skryhan: "If there is no candidate from the "Fair World", it is difficult to say whom we will support. There are many people running at the elections... It is difficult to predict who of them will be registered. It is even unclear who is capable in registering an initiative group".

Mrs. Skryhan added that the date of the future plenum is yet unknown. The party members planned to appoint it as soon as they know the date of the elections.

Let us remind you that the elections will take place on December 19. Now the candidates have 10 days to register initiative groups.

Besides, there are rumours that "Fair World" is going to support Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu at the elections.
