Woman whose dog gnawed off her daughter’s arm to stand trial in Minsk
The woman whose dog gnawed off her 8-months-old daughter’s arm will stand trial in Minsk Frunze District Court at 12 p.m. on August 5. She is accused of leaving a helpless person in danger and may be imprisoned for up to three years.
The tragedy happened in March 2016. The 25-year-old mother was sleeping in a state of intoxication when the dog attacked the child. The girl died of blood loss. The court will decide the fate of the husky. The woman was jailed a few days after the tragedy.
