Yakub Kolas alley to appear in Homel on Wednesday
A Yakub Kolas alley will appear near Kastrychynitski Avenue in Homel on October 24. It will be lined with lime-trees, oaks, wild pear-trees and pine-trees – the trees were glorified by the national Belarusian poet.
A memorial stone with an inscription will be installed in the alley.
The ceremony of the opening of the alley is dated for the 125th anniversary of Yakub Kolas. According to BelTA, at least 1500 people are going to take part in it.
