Youngsters sentenced to 1 year of custodial restraint for illegal fishing
The Zavodski Court of Minsk returned two minors guilty of illegal fishing and sentenced them to 1 year of custodial restraint.
The press centre of the Office of Public Prosecutor has informed about it. The investigation proved that the youngsters used to go fishing with a net in an inflatable boat at Chuzhouskaye reservoir.
They caught 150 crucians, 6 breams and 2 carps during the spring period of fishing prohibition. The losses they caused are more than 3.7 million BRB.
The court satisfied the prosecutor’s demands to cover for the losses. The sum will be paid by the youngsters’ parents in connection with the fact that the infringers do not have jobs.
