100 thousand signatures for Bykau Street sent to Minsk authorities

Over 100 thousand inhabitants of Minsk supported the idea of naming one of the city streets after Vasil Bykau, they told officials. 36 thousands would like to name a metro station after the writer, Radio Liberty reports.
Tell the Truth activists asked Minsk City Executive Committee to name a street after Vasil Bykau in 2010. However, officials did not support the initiative back then.
