100,000 observe V-Day fireworks in Minsk
Officials in Belarus have said that over 200,000 people took part in the Victory Day celebrations in Minsk, reports Belapan. According to Minsk City Hall, over 100,000 gathered at 10 p.m on May 9 to watch fireworks in central Minsk.
Festivities were staged both downtown and in all of the capital's districts. No incidents have been reported, the Police said.
