16:50 Hitler can be deprived of German citizenship

Germany is looking into a possibility of depriving Adolf Hitler of the German citizenship, writes on Monday the British newspaper The Times. Hitler, formerly an Austrian citizen, bacame a German national in 1932 after being appointed to the post of adviser on culture in a local government of Braunschweig.

Marking the 75th anniversary of this historical fact, some politicians in Germany proposed to abolish the Braunschweig ruling to deprive Hitler of the German citizenship and his second motherland of shame.

Experts believe that these attempt will be in vain, because Hitler denounced his Austrian citizenship by his own will.
