17:18 Belarusian biathlonist confused track
A Belarusian biathlonist Syarhey Novikau followed a wrong route and did not reach the finish in the individual race of the European Championship opened in Bansko (Bulgaria) today.
The Belarusian entered the first firing line from a wrong track (meant to be used in junior races later) and, having realized his mistake, decided to drop out of the race.
The best Belarusian biathlonist in the individual 20 km race was Uladzіmіr Mіklasheuskі, who took the 19th place.
The other Belarusians took the following places: Alyaksandar Syman — 38th, Syarhey Dashkevіch — 39th, and Syarhey Novikau dropped out, reports the “Pressball” newspaper.
