17:31 Airplane catches fire over Brest District
The engine of an airplane AN-2 of the “Hrodna Airline” caught fire while doing additional fertilizing of the fields of the “Astramechava” agricultural enterprise.
The fire-control system worked out immediately and started putting up the fire.
The pilots showed their professionalism and managed to land the aircraft with a burning engine on a field.
After that they put out the fire with the help of fire extinguishers. A special committee is trying to find the reason for the incident, reports “Zvyazda”.
