26 suspects in "mass disturbances case" can be charged today
First accusations in the framework of the mass disturbance criminal case can be presented on December 29. This was informed to BelaPAN by the city administration of internal affairs of Minsk city executive committee.
We are speaking about 26 subjects of the criminal case started by the investigational administration of the preliminary investigation of the Minsk city executive committee's city administration of internal affairs (Part 1, 2 Art. 293 of the Criminal Code). All of them are imprisoned in the KGB detention center.
Among the suspects there are 7 ex-presidential candidates: Aliaksej Mikhalevich, Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, Vital Rymasheuski, Andrej Sannikau and Mikalaj Statkevich, who are imprisoned in the KGB detention center, and also Ryhor Kastusyou and Dzmitry Us, who are under the non-leave obligation.
All the other 19 suspects are representatives of the candidates' election HQs, civil activists, journalists and the former police officer.
