43 drunken drivers stand trial in Minsk

The cases of 43 drivers (including one woman) who were repeatedly detained for drunken driving this year have been sent to the capital’s courts. According to the new Administrative Code, persistent infringers are judged according to the Criminal Code.

More than three thousand drunken drives have been detained in Minsk since teh beginning of the year. A driving inspector Yuryi Krasnou informed about it.

31 accidents as a result of which 1 person died and 42 people were injured took place due to drunken drivers during the six months of this year.
