70 opposition party activists nominated to territorial elections commissions
Opposition parties have nominated only 70 representatives to territorial elections commissions. This was informed by the Chairperson of the Central Elections Commission Lidzia Yarmoshyna. Yarmoshyna: "70 representatives of the so-called "opposition" partes have been nominated to territorial elections commissions. These are the Belarusian Left Party "Fair World" - they nominated more than 50% of representatives to the territorial elections commissions, or 36 people, the United Civic Party - 24 people, BPF Party - 7 people, and the Belarusian Social Democratic Hramada - 3 people. Other political parties of this spectrum have not nominated their representatives to territorial elections commissions".
Let us remind you that nomination of candidates to the territorial elections commissions finished on September 26. According to the information provided by the Central Elections Commission, 155 such commissions 13 people in each will be formed in total. The total number of members of the commissions is 2015 people. The number of applications filed is 2681.
Besides, most regions provide information that opposition activists are not being included into the commissions as they allegedly have no such experience.
