79-year-old Homel dweller gets driving license
A 79-year-old Liliya Zaleskaya got a driving license in Homel.
The head of the examination department of Homel Region driving inspectorate Andrei Yermakou informed ERB about it. According to him, her 62-year-old daughter and 59-year-old niece also got driving licenses together with her. Yermakou notes that elderly people rarely try to get a driving license but their number has started growing recently. A 72-year-old Homel dweller got his driving license yesterday. The head of the examination department thinks that elderly people are more responsible while driving.
Yermakou: “Elderly people pay more attention to the road laws then young people do. And their desire to get a driving license is more serious”.
