UNDP chief to visit Minsk
Administrator of United Nations Development Program Helen Clark will pay her first ever official visit to Belarus.
She will meet Belarusian Minister for Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makei and the Minister of Economy and Emergency Control, Belarus 1 reports. The future cooperation between Belarus and the United Nations Development Programme and the experience of realisation of joint projects including Chernobyl projects will be discussed during the negotiations.
Moreover, famous Belarusian biathlete, three-time Olympic champion and Hero of Belarus Darya Domarcheva will become the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Development Programme in Belarus.
