Alyaksandr Shumkevch elected leader of “Young democrats”
The leader of the youth affiliate of the United Civil Party has been elected at its meeting taking place in Minsk today. It is a UCP member Alyaksandr Shumkevіch. He got 28 out of the 49 votes.
Two more people were candidates for the position and one of them refused to participate in the election. Let us remind you that representatives from all regions of the country arrived at the meeting. A strategy of development and a plan for the near future will also be discussed by “Young democrats” today.
The leader of the UCP Anatol Lyabedzka made a speech for the present. He noted that the party “will also be part of the team and a reliable partner for “Young Democrats”.
