Andrei Bandarenka goes on unlimited hunger strike?
Andrei Bandarenka planned to go on hunger strike on October 5. He reported it in his letter to civil activist Hanna Shaputska on September 28, Radio Liberty reports.
He was supposed to be transferred to group #4 on that day, Bandarenka wrote. There is a threat to his safety behind the bars, the political prisoner noted. “I am not going to make peace or stick to some ‘status’ as well as I am not going to accept any attempts to impose anything on me. I think that I will go on an unlimited hunger strike on October 5 in protest against the brutal, inhumane and insulting treatment,” Bandarenka wrote. He does not exclude that provocations may be organized.
Ex-head of the human right organization Platform Andrei Bandarenka is imprisoned for 3 years on charges of malicious hooliganism.
