Azaranka and Havartsova get to quarter-final of tennis tournament in Tashkent
Belarusian tennis players Volha Hvartsova and Victoria Azaranka have got to the single quarter-final of the tournament in Tashkent. Havartsova defeated a representative of Luxemburg Anne Kremer — 2:6, 6:3, 6:2. To get to the semi-final she will have to compete with a British player Kate O’Brian who has defeated a Minsk inhabitant Anastasiya Yakimava 6:3, 7:6 today.
Vіktoria Azaranka defeated a Russian Evgeniya Rodina 6:4, 6:3, reports “Pressball”.
One more Belarusian, Tattiana Puchak was defeated by the fourth number, Elena Vesnina from Russia — 5:7, 4:6. She will continue competing in the pair quarter-final where she will be playing together with a Russian tennis player Anastasiya Rodionova.
