Bankauskas released according to Lukashenka’s order
The Vilnius policemen detained in Belarus, Laimanas Bankauskas, has claimed that he was released according to Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s order. At least Belarusian official told him so, reports a TV channel Lietuvos rytas. According to Bankauskas, he was invited to a study where he was read aloud that it was a voluntary gesture of the Belarusian leader.
The Vilnius policeman claims that the drugs he was detained for had been put stealthily on him. Bankauskas is going to cooperate with the officials conducting the internal investigation.
