BelaPAN journalist Tacciana Karavenkova released

BelaPAN journalist Tacciana Karavenkova detained in connection with ‘the BelTA case’ on 7 August has been released and is already at home, Tacciana’s colleagues told Euroradio. She will be interrogated at the Investigation Committee on 10 August, Tacciana’s lawyer said.

BelaPAN editor-in-chief Iryna Lewshyna and Duetsche Welle journalist Paulyuk Bykowski remain behind bars. Volha Bykowskaya had to make a lot of phone calls to find out that Paulyuk will be interrogated on 10 Auguast but will spend the night in jail.
