Belarus bans chloride for bottled water

The Belarusian health ministry has introduced a full ban on the use of chloride when bottling the drinking water, reports Intrefax.
According to the specialists from the Institute for Sanitation and Hygiene, there are two types of the bottled water in Belarus: 1st class and 2nd class.

The first type means water received from the water supply system and cleaned using chloride. The second category means water received from wells. The first category water is more common in Belarus.
