Belarus borrowed $4.4 billion in six months
The sum of foreign investments to the Belarusian economy totalled 4.4 billion dollars in the first half of this year. It is 4.4% more than in the same period of the last year, reports BelTA. More than 70% of the investments came from Russia. The other countries that lent quite a lot of money to Belarus were Austria, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Great Britain. Most investments were spent on transport, industry, commerce and catering.
