Belarus deported 1500 foreigners in 2014
The number includes 528 people who were deported by force.
The Belarusian migration authorities have invalidated permanent residence permits for over 1600 foreign nationals since the beginning of 2014. The additional 2500 foreigners saw their temporary residence permits cancelled in Belarus over criminal convictions, administrative offences and numerous violations of Belarusian migration laws, reports Interfax-Zapad.
The Belarusian law-enforcement authorities note that the number of registered crimes, committed by foreigners, has dropped this year.
