Belarus does not have gas debts dating back to 2009
Belarus does not have any gas debts dating back to 2009. The director general of “Beltransgaz” Uladzimir Mayorau has informed about it, reports BelTA. He has also informed that “Beltransgas” expects to sign a new contract on gas supplies by 2020.
"The acting contract for gas supplies is meant for 2007-2011 inclusive. We will change the contract for 2012-2020”, - informs “Interfax” referring to Mayorau.
In the opinion of the head of “Beltransgaz”, a long-term contract for gas import corresponds to the international practice. In particular, Mayorau noted that Poland had signed a contract on gas supplies with “Gazprom” until 2037.
