Belarus foreign minister to visit Kyiv
The Belarusian diplomacy chief Uladzimir Makey is set to pay a four-day visit to the capital of Ukraine.
Foreign Minister of Belarus Uladzimir Makey is to visit Ukraine from 12 to 16 August, the press service of the Ukrainian government reports.
During his visit, Mr Makey will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Pavel Klimkin. After the meeting on August 12, the foreign ministers of the two states will answer journalists' questions.
Official meetings of the representatives of the Governments of Belarus and Ukraine just like meetings of the heads of the two countries are not frequent. However, this year there have been more of them. For example, on July 23-24, a meeting of the Ukraine-Belarus intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation was held in Chernihiv.
